History

In 2021, Valentino Vecchietti of Intersex Equality Rights UK added the intersex flag to Daniel Quasar's 2018 Progress Pride flag, creating the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride flag.

The yellow triangle and purple circle come from Morgan Carpenter's 2013 intersex flag. They sit inside the arrow of black, brown, light blue, pink, and white stripes that the Progress flag added for queer people of color and trans people.

The design spread quickly and is now one of the most widely flown inclusive pride flags. Some call it the New Progress Pride flag.
