History

Erika Castillo, the founder of My Pride Flag, created this flag in October 2026. She kept the colors of the Transgender flag, with the same meanings Monica Helms gave them in 1999, and arranged them into a single bright star.

In Erika's words: "I created this flag because it is time the world sees me, and I fly my own flag."

It is the first commemorative flag on My Pride Flag, released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license so anyone can fly it, print it, or build on it with credit.
